The Shri Ram Schools- Prioritising Mental Health for Educators

As part of their Director’s Day, The Shri Ram Schools curated a mental health-focused initiative for 600 educators, building on their ongoing commitment to mental well-being. Discussions centered on the roles of teachers, administration, and parents in supporting student mental health.

The day’s key theme highlighted how lived experiences can shape supportive environments for children and young people, with TSRS alumni Kairavi Bharat Ram and Anoushka Kumar sharing personal reflections from their school years.

Through sessions led by Neha Kirpal, Ira Khan, and Bakul Dua, participants explored the impact of teachers and school environments on student mental health, the support educators need for both their students and themselves, and ways to cultivate a school culture that actively promotes mental well-being.

To affirm this commitment, TSRS Director Manika Sharma signed a pledge, reinforcing the school’s dedication to integrating mental health support across all aspects of school life.
