At Dasra Philanthropy Week 2025 on 26th March, the panel Behind the Impact: Prioritizing Mental Health and Well-Being for the Development Sector brought together voices from across the sector, including Neha Kirpal (IMHA), Vishal Talreja, Sonal Kapoor, Riah Forbes, Natasha Joshi, and Arjun Kapoor, to spotlight an often-overlooked issue: the mental health of nonprofit workers. The conversation called for urgent shifts, recognising burnout as a systemic risk, advocating for untied funding that supports staff well-being, and embedding mental health policies, such as flexibility and care, into everyday organisational culture.
