At the YFLO x EMpower event held in Delhi on 17th April, our Founding Trustee Vasvi Bharat Ram spoke about how her and Ashish Bharat Ram’s lived experiences led to the founding of the India Mental Health Alliance (IMHA). She emphasised the urgent need for mental health systems that are inclusive, community-rooted, and shaped by lived experience. Vasvi also highlighted IMHA’s core focus areas—capacity building and cross-sectoral alliance-building, to position mental health as a key societal priority.
